this past weekend was semi crazy busy. but it made me love life and how things can change and how you can be so blessed with your life depending on the choices you make and those you surround yourself with.
last friday my brother showed up at my apartment with a vanilla latte (half the vanilla) - how awesome is he? he was driving a rental mini van (haha) and we had to go to the columbia regional airport to pick up some golfers, our mom, and family friends. omg we got to drive on the tarmac so that really excited me. after the airport and dropping people off places my mom and i went to our favorite breakfast spot in columbia, cafe berlin. that was delicious, not to my surprise. we went shoe shopping. i went to class. friday ended up with enjoying the weather on top of the roof in downtown columbia. saturday my fam ventured to my favorite bagel spot, B&B bagels, for breakfast and then we went to Helmi's Garden. i recommend everyone go there - wow its a dream come true if you like vintage/gardening/house plants/trendy succulents/trendy air plants - loved that place! i got an air plant and I'm so excited about it! (they are plants that don't require soil and very minimal watering!!) saturday late afternoon i introduced my mom to gumby's pizza (changed her life) and we headed out to st. louis for the mumford & sons concert at the scottrade center. i saw mumford & sons last summer at bonnaroo, it was a really amazing experience - there really aren't words. its just a good time and those guys have such talent and heart for what they do - i will forever devote my life to attending mumford concerts while i can! and who doesn't like british men that can sing and play instruments? exactly. we headed back to como after the concert and of course had breakfast and coffee the following morning. and this current week is a charming, stressful, busy, hopefully short week. britney
